Core Values

ON MISSION

(Matthew 18- Great Commission) Jesus calls us to be on mission and to make disciples.  He gave us the example by coming to seek and save the lost. We long to see Elevation be a place full of people on mission, being the hands and feet of Jesus wherever, whenever, and to whomever.

LOVING COMMUNITY

Jesus said that the world would know his followers by the love they had for one another.  It is our desire to be a place filled with genuine love for one another.

CREATIVE WORSHIP

Worship is all about living a life of expressing our love to God through our day to day living. (Col 3:17) Corporately, we believe in using the creative arts (music, media, drama, art, etc.) to express our love and thankfulness to God as well as to allow people to experience and engage with Christ.

TEACHING OF THE WORD OF GOD

(Hebrews 4:12)  We believe in the power of the inspired, inerrant Scriptures of God.  Transformation comes not from knowing the Word but applying the Word of God in one’s life.  We desire to be a church body that is grounded in Biblical living in everything!

PERSONAL DISCIPLESHIP

(2 Corinthans 3:17-18)  As we follow Christ, he transforms our minds, our desires, our wills, our relationships, and our ultimate reason for living. Every disciple of Jesus exists to make disciples of Jesus, here and among every people group on the planet. There are no spectators. We are all born to reproduce the life of Christ in others.

LIVING IN COMMUNITY

(Hebrews 10:25)  We GROW by getting SMALLER.  Growing in our relationship with Christ involves connecting with others in small communities and living life together.

IMPACTING THE NEXT GENERATION

Our Next Generation is not the church of the future, but the church of today. 75% of Christian young people graduate high school and leave the church. Less than 1% of young people 18-23 have a biblical worldview. As a church we believe in investing in the next generation and making each student matter and connect tomorrow’s leaders to Christ, Community, and His cause.
